12:23 PM EST - Centerra Gold Inc. : on Thursday said its second quarter net income declined to US$13.8 million or US$0.06 per share, from US$19.6 million or US$0.09 per share in the prior year quarter. The Company noted that the recent quarter results included an unusual item of US$42.2 million. Quarterly Revenues grew to US$142.6 million from US$103.7 million in the year-ago quarter.
