12:02 PM EST - Magna Entertainment Corp. : reported Wednesday a second-quarter loss of US$21.3 million as the horse racetrack operator improved a little on a year-earlier loss of $23.4-million loss. The spinoff from auto parts giant Magna said its loss amounted to $3.64 per share, versus $4.35 in the year-ago quarter. Revenues for the period ended June 30 edged down to $166.3 million from $167.4 million. Magna Entertainment Corp.
shares T.MEC.A are trading off 25 cents at $7.50.
