09:46 AM EST - Manulife Financial Corp. : said net income dipped 8.5 percent in the latest quarter. But the company also raised its dividend by 8 percent to 26 cents a share. Manulife, the second largest life insurer in North America, said on Thursday it earned $1.01 billion, or 66 cents a share, in the three months ending June 30. That compared with profit of $1.1 billion, or 71 cents a share, in the year-earlier period. Manulife Financial Corp.
