03:48 PM EST - Tim Hortons : said on Thursday that second-quarter profit rose 11.5 percent as it opened more restaurants and charged higher prices. Canada's biggest restaurant chain said it earned $75 million, or 41 cents a share, in the quarter ended June 29. That compares with a profit of $67.2 million, or 36 cents a share, in the same period last year. The mean estimate from analysts was for a profit of 40 cents a share before items. Tim Hortons
