09:57 AM EST - Thomson Reuters : said that second-quarter net earnings attributable to common shares were $172 million, or $0.22 per share, lower than $375 million, or $0.58 per share, in the same period in 2007. Revenues were $3.13 billion compared to $1.81 billion in the prior year period, primarily due to the acquisition of Reuters. Proforma revenues were $3.44 billion, up from $3.09 billion a year-ago.
