09:40 AM EST - Biovail Corp. : had a US$25.3-million loss in its second quarter as Canada's largest publicly traded drug company suffered from a number of special legal and restructuring charges and a drop in sales revenue. Biovail's revenue fell by eight per cent to US$186.1 million in the quarter ended June 30, down from US$203.0 million for the second quarter of 2007. Its net loss amounted to US$25.3 million or 16 cents per share. That compared with net income of US$67.8 million or 42 cents per share for the corresponding 2007 period. Biovail Corp.
shares T.BVF are trading unchanged at $10.50.
