09:44 AM EST - CAE Inc. : posted an increase in its first-quarter profit on improved performance across all its business segments. Separately, the company said it received military contracts valued at up to $106 million. The company recorded first-quarter net earnings of $46.1 million or $0.18 per share, higher than $38.7 million or $0.15 per share a year ago. Earnings from continuing operations reached $47 million, up 21% from $38.7 million in the previous year. CAE Inc.
