11:01 AM EST - Quadra Mining Ltd. : reported Thursday an increase in its earnings for the second-quarter, primarily due to higher copper and gold prices in the current year as well as higher metal sales volumes. The company also recently increased its annual production guidance to 150 million pounds of copper and 115,000 ounces of gold in 2008. The company reported that second-quarter net earnings was US$65 million or US$1.05 per share, compared with US$36.56 million or US$0.76 per share in the year-ago quarter. Quadra Mining Ltd.
