10:02 AM EST - Forzani Group Ltd. : says its third-quarter profit soared 83 percent to a record $11.9 million. Earnings for the quarter ended Oct. 29 amounted to 35 cents a share, compared with 20 cents per share a year ago, the Calgary-based company reported Friday. Analysts' consensus forecast was for earnings of 27 cents a share, before one-time items, according to Thomson Financial. Forzani Group Ltd.
shares T.FGL are trading up 88 cents at $18.78.
