03:38 PM EST - North West Company Fund : said its second quarter profits rose in the latest quarter on a more than one third jump in revenues. The Winnipeg company said late Thursday it earned $18.4 million or 38 cents a unit for the three months ended July 31, up from earnings of $14.8 million or 30 cents a unit last year. Sales increased 33.5 per cent to $342.4 million from $256.4 million. North West Company Fund
