09:35 AM EST - SilverBirch Inc. : said it reached a merger agreement with California-based video game publisher Red Mile Entertainment, Inc. The deal is expected to close in January of 2009. Separately, the company said that the book of orders for the $0.5 million financing at $0.08 per unit is completed and expected to close on or about October 10, 2008. SilverBirch Inc.
shares V.SVB are trading up 1 cent at $0.08.
