The Corporation reported third-quarter net earnings attributable to common equity shareholders of $278 million, or $0.64 per common share, compared to $276 million, or $0.65 per common share, for the same period in 2018. Quarterly earnings reflect rate base growth at the regulated utilities, led by ITC. Growth was offset by the unfavourable impact of mark-to-market accounting of natural gas derivatives at the Aitken Creek natural gas storage facility, the impact of weather with lower rainfall in Belize and, for earnings per common share, a higher weighted average number of common shares outstanding.
