09:49 AM EST - NovaGold Resources Inc. : reported its third quarter earnings of $16.7 million or $0.16 per share, compared to a loss of $4.2 million or $0.04 per share in the same quarter last year. Quarterly revenues declined to $1.5 million from $2.2 million in the year-ago quarter. The company attributed the decrease in revenues mainly to decreased interest income due to lower average cash balances in 2008 as compared to the corresponding period in 2007. NovaGold Resources Inc.
