09:54 AM EST - Air Canada : reported a load factor of 80.2% on a consolidated basis with Jazz, a record for the October month, versus 78.6% in October 2007, an increase of 1.6 percentage points. System traffic decreased 3.9% on a capacity decrease of 5.9% system wide. The airline said its October traffic declined 3.9% to 3.9 billion revenue passenger miles or RPMs from 4.06 billion RPMs in the same period last year. The airline's October available seat miles or capacity was 4.86 billion, down 5.9% from 5.16 billion in the prior year period. Air Canada
shares T.AC.A are trading down 12 cents at $5.18.
