Basic earnings per share were US$0.08, down from US$0.31 in the prior-year quarter. The company posted adjusted net income of US$11.3 million or US$0.14 per share for the quarter. Pan American produced 4.9 million ounces of silver during the quarter, 9% higher than in the third quarter of 2007. Pan American Silver Corp.
