The Company's principal operating business is its 70% equity interest in the producing copper mine Minera Tres Valles ("MTV") in Salamanca, Chile. All figures are in U.S. dollars. Revenues came in at $7.147 million, compared to $8.608 million. The Company reported a quarterly net loss of $17.8 million or $(0.53) per share. This result includes a net loss from discontinued operations of $2.2 million, impairment charges of $7.6 million, inventory write-down of $3.8 million and an unrealized loss on portfolio investments of $2.3 million.
