10:03 AM EST - Gran Tierra Energy : said it has temporarily suspended production in the Costayaco and Juanambu oil fields in southern Colombia due to a general strike in the region. The oil and gas exploration company says production from other assets in the Putumayo Basin, the Llanos Basin and the lower Magdalena Basin continues unimpeded. The temporary suspension of production operations is the result of a declaration of a state of emergency by Ecopetrol, the Colombian National Oil Company, due to a general strike in the region, the company said in a news release.
