Sales for the second quarter of 2020 decreased 9.8% to $1,221.9 million, compared to $1,354.2 million for the second quarter of 2019, with 12.4% organic decline partially offset by 2.2% acquisition-related growth and 0.4% positive impact from foreign currency translation. Operating income for the second quarter of 2020 was $163.6 million compared to $198.7 million for the comparable quarter of 2019. Operating income decreased 18.2%, excluding currency translation.
