03:17 PM EST - Kinross Gold Corp. : has agreed to raise slightly its takeover offer for Bema Gold Corp., both companies said on Friday. According to the deal, Bema shareholders will now receive 0.4447 of a Kinross common share plus 1 Canadian cent in cash for each Bema common share. Kinross previously offered 0.441 of a share for each Bema share. Bema's board has unanimously approved the transaction and Bema's independent financial advisor said the raised offer is fair. shares T.K are trading down 17 cents at $13.12.
