12:13 PM EST - Yamana Gold Inc. : on Wednesday announced $100 million in equity financing. The company entered into an agreement with Canaccord Capital Corporation and Scotia Capital Inc., the lead underwriters, whereby they agreed to purchase for resale to the public 16,700,000 common shares of Yamana on a ''bought deal'' basis, at a price of $6.00 per common share for aggregate gross proceeds to Yamana of about $100 million. In addition, the company has agreed to grant to the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 2,505,000 common shares of Yamana at a price of $6.00 per common share, on the same terms and conditions as the offering.
