Inc. : said it planned to prolong the suspension of nickel ore production at its Levack Mine and to also delay production of nickel ore from its adjoining McCreedy West Mine, effective immediately. As a result, the company would lay off 307 employees across its Sudbury mining operations. Among the 307 employees, 59 staff will be terminated and 248 hourly employees will be laid off, effective immediately. FNX Mining Co. Inc.
