10:47 AM EST - Silvercorp Metals Inc. : Announced today it has filed a preliminary short form base shelf prospectus with the securities regulators in each province of Canada, except for the Province of Quebec, and a corresponding shelf registration statement on Form F-10 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. When made final or effective, the prospectus and registration statement will allow the Company to offer up to $200 million U.S. of common shares, preferred shares, debt securities, warrants, subscription receipts or any combination thereof during the 25-month period that the shelf prospectus is effective.
