10:54 AM EST - Harris Steel Group Inc. : says its board of directors is endorsing a takeover bid from US based Nucor Corp. worth $1.25 billion, or $46.25 a share. The offer represents a 37.5 percent premium over the 30-day volume-weighted average trading price at Dec. 7, the last trading day before Harris announced it had discussions about a possible sale -- and a 6.3 premium to the closing price last Friday.
