09:45 AM EST - Nexen Inc. : announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire an additional 15% interest in the Long Lake project and the joint venture lands from OPTI Canada Ltd., effective December 31, 2008. The total purchase price of the transaction is $735 million and is expected to close in late January 2009. Nexen Inc.
