09:54 AM EST - Canwest Global Communications Corp. : reported a first-quarter net loss of $32.6 million or $0.18 per share, compared to a profit of $40.7 million or $0.23 per share in the same quarter last year. On an adjusted basis, net income was $27 million or $0.15 per share, compared to $61 million or $0.35 per share in the year ago quarter. Revenue for the quarter increased 2% to $886.1 million from $867.4 million in the comparable quarter last year. Canwest Global Communications Corp.
