09:30 AM EST - Vecima Networks Inc. : posted second-quarter net income of $1.0 million or $0.04 per share, down from $2.0 million or $0.09 per share in the second quarter last year. Operating income for the second quarter increased to $7.1 million or $0.31 per share from $2.6 million or $0.11 per share a year ago. Total revenue for the second quarter was $36.9 million, up 34 per cent from $27.4 million in the prior year period. In addition, the company said it expects to continue to grow revenue in fiscal 2009 in the range of 20 to 30 per cent on an annual basis. Vecima Networks Inc.
