09:31 AM EST - Gold Point Energy Corp. : said it signed agreement with San Leon Energy Plc, for the latter company to acquire the entire share capital of Gold Point. As per the terms of the agreement, the shareholders of Gold Point would receive one San Leon Share in exchange for six Gold Point shares. Payment would be made in two tranches. The first will be made when Gold Point shareholders accept the offer. The second will be made 12 months after. The company noted that both the payments are subject to a lock in agreement of 12 months following the payment whereby shareholders would not be able to trade their shares. The transaction is expected to complete in April 2009. Gold Point Energy Corp.
