11:51 AM EST - Penn West Energy Trust : announced that its fourth-quarter net income more than tripled from last year primarily due to realized and unrealized risk management gains. The company's net income for the quarter soared to $404 million or $1.04 per share from $127 million or $0.52 per share in the year-ago period. Funds flow for the quarter was $490 million, up from $349 million in the year-earlier period. However, on a per unit basis, funds flow for the quarter declined to $1.26 from $1.43 in the year-ago period.
