12:04 PM EST - Zi Corp. : announced that it has been acquired by Nuance Communications Inc. for $0.69 U.S. Under the terms of the agreement, consideration for the transaction is about $35 million U.S., comprising approximately $17 million U.S. in cash and $18 million U.S. in Nuance common stock. Zi shareholders will receive $0.34 U.S. in cash and, based on Nuance's 10-day volume weighted average trading price on the date hereof, about 0.04 shares of Nuance common stock for each share of Zi common stock that they own.
