03:55 PM EST - Bellus Health Inc. : reported a narrower loss for the fourth quarter on lower expenses, even as revenue fell from the prior year, as it record no revenue from collaboration agreements. The biopharmaceutical company, however, said it is doubtful on its ability to continue operations beyond the first quarter of 2009, as it dependent's upon raising additional financing and thereby realize assets and discharge liabilities in the normal course of business. Bellus Health has incurred significant operating losses and negative cash outflows from operations since inception and has an accumulated deficit at December 31, 2008 of $366.48 million. Bellus Health also has interest payments due on the 2006 and 2007 convertible notes and payable in May and November 2009. Bellus Health Inc.
