09:43 AM EST - Cantronic Systems Inc. : announced that it has entered into a binding purchase and sale agreement for the acquisition of a 58.6-per-cent interest in Beijing Advanced VideoInfo Technology Co., Ltd. or "AVINFO" in China. Under the terms of the agreement, Cantronic will pay a total of RMB 9.2 million or about $1.7 million in cash in two phases for the acquisition of its 58-per-cent interest in AVINFO.
