10:10 AM EST - Dorel Industries Inc. : announced that its fourth quarter net income decreased to $19.2 million U.S., or $0.57 U.S. per share, from $22.3 million U.S., or $0.67 U.S. per share a year ago. Excluding restructuring costs, net income in 2007 was $24.0 million U.S., or $0.72 U.S. per share. Revenue for the fourth quarter increased 4.6 per cent to $479.9 million U.S. from $458.9 million U.S. a year ago. Organic revenue growth was approximately 10 per cent. The company does not anticipate that 2009 will be as profitable as 2008, but nor do the company expect it to be anywhere nearly as negative as current market conditions suggest. Dorel Industries Inc.
