10:08 AM EST - Allied Nevada Gold Corp. : reported fiscal 2008 net loss of $79.64 million U.S. or $1.49 U.S. per share, compared to net loss of $11.27 million U.S. or $0.42 U.S. per share last year. Total costs and operating expenses grew to $79.24 million U.S. from $12.35 million U.S. in the prior year. The company said it is currently in the commissioning phase of the mining and processing operations and expect to complete this phase of operations by the middle of 2009. For the full year of 2009, the company expects to produce approximately 90,000 ounces of gold at a cost of goods sold per ounce of between $460 U.S. and $480 U.S. Allied Nevada Gold Corp.
