09:56 AM EST - Bankers Petroleum Ltd. : reported fiscal 2008 net loss and comprehensive loss of $1.78 million U.S., compared to net loss and comprehensive loss of $2.32 million U.S. last year. Loss from continuing operations widened to $1.59 million U.S. or $0.009 U.S. per share from $1.13 million U.S. or $0.008 U.S. per share in the prior year. Revenue grew to $88.9 million U.S. from $54.44 million U.S. a year ago. Moving ahead, the company expects to increase its export deliveries by mid-2009 as a result of the commissioning of the new Port of Vlore oil export terminal that will provide increased storage capacity and facilitate larger vessels. The company also said the revised forecast exit production rate for 2009 is expected to be approximately 8,000 barrels of oil per day. Bankers Petroleum Ltd.
