10:04 AM EST - TransAlta Corp. : said on Friday it swung to a loss in the fourth quarter, hit by charges related to the Washington State Centralia mine closure and Centralia gas-fired asset impairment. The company posted a net loss of $146 million, or 72 cents a share. That compares with a net profit of $59.9 million, or 30 cents a share, in the year-earlier quarter. TransAlta Corp.
shares T.TA are trading off 10 cents at $26.10.
