09:48 AM EST - Stockhouse Inc. : reported fourth-quarter net loss of $633,000 U.S. or $0.02 U.S. per share, compared to a loss of $1.1 million U.S. or $0.03 U.S. per share in the same quarter of last year. Total operating expenses for the quarter were $2 million U.S., compared to $3.5 million U.S. in the same quarter of last year, an improvement of 43 per cent. Total revenues for the quarter were $2.50 million U.S., compared to $3.86 million U.S. in the prior-year quarter. The decline in revenue has been affected primarily by a decline in advertising revenue and its legacy pager revenue as well as the strengthening of the U.S. dollar against the Canadian dollar and Euro of which the majority of the company’s revenue is generated.
