11:54 AM EST - TransAtlantic Petroleum Corp. : reported consolidated net loss for 2008 of $8.6 million U.S. or $0.13 U.S. loss per share, compared to a loss of $7.9 million U.S. or $0.18 U.S. loss per share last year. The company said that the fiscal 2008 net loss was mainly due to general and administrative expense of $3.0 million U.S. and $5.2 million U.S. regarding international exploration activities. Consolidated revenues for the year fell to $111,000 U.S. from $653,000 U.S. last year. The company noted that the decrease in revenue was primarily due to sale of South Gillock and Jarvis Dome properties in fourth quarter of 2007. TransAtlantic Petroleum Corp.
