09:57 AM EST - TransGlobe Energy Corporation : Has now closed its previously announced merger with VAALCO Energy, Inc. by way of plan of arrangement pursuant to Section 193 of the Business Corporations Act (Alberta). On October 14 it is expected that common shares of TransGlobe will be delisted on NASDAQ and trading of TransGlobe Common Shares on AIM will be cancelled, and the Toronto Stock Exchange delisting is expected to occur at the close of trading today.
