11:59 AM EST - Uranium North Resources Corp. : announced plans for a 2,000- to 3,000-metre drill program on the Company's 100-per-cent owned Amer Lake Property in Nunavut. The program is planned to commence around the end of April, and is focused on evaluating: 1) the continuity of the mineralization within the Amer Lake deposit and 2) expansion possibilities to the south of the 6.7 to 12.3 million pound historic uranium resource (i) in an attempt to reach the 2009 deposit target of 11.5 to 17.6 million pounds (ii) recently calculated by the Company. Construction of an ice airstrip for the mobilization of equipment and supplies is complete. The Property is located 145 kilometres north of Baker Lake and 70 kilometres northwest of an all-season road which extends from Baker Lake to the Meadowbank gold deposit.
