10:48 AM EST - Enbridge Inc. : said its fourth-quarter profit slipped to $171.1 million from a year-ago $174 million as energy use in North American was reduced by unusually warm weather. Earnings in the quarter ended Dec. 31 amounted to 49 cents a diluted share, compared with 51 cents per share a year ago, the Calgary-based company reported Wednesday. Analysts' consensus forecast was for earnings of 52 cents a share, before one-time items, according to Thomson Financial. Enbridge Inc.
shares T.ENB are trading down 14 cents at $38.48.
