11:39 AM EST - TransCanada Corp. : agreed to sell its North Baja Pipeline, LLC to Omaha, Nebraska-based natural gas pipeline systems operator TC PipeLines, LP for about $395 million U.S. in cash and stock deal. The transaction is expected to close by the end of second quarter 2009. The acquisition would lead to the elimination of general partner's 50-per-cent incentive distribution rights. TransCanada Corp.
shares T.TRP are trading up $0.58 at $31.86.
