09:42 AM EST - IPICO Inc. : announced that its first-quarter net loss was $2.13 million or $0.04 per share, compared to a loss of $2.48 million or $0.05 per share in the year-ago quarter. Operating costs in the first quarter were $2.95 million, compared to C$2.76 million in 2008. Revenue for the first quarter increased 83 per cent to $1.86 million, from $1.02 million in the first quarter of 2008. Gross margin increased 116 per cent to $888,568 compared with $411,937 in 2008.
