03:02 PM EST - MedMira Inc. : soared by one-fifth Tuesday after the medical test company reported a contract for one million rapid HIV tests from Venkateshwara Hatcheries Ltd., its distribution partner in India. MedMira, which develops tests said to detect HIV or hepatitis C in less than three minutes, expects to begin shipping in a few months, and predicts more orders as the tests become established in India. Future market expansion is planned for other Asian countries. MedMira Inc.
