09:38 AM EST - MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. : announced that it has signed a $2.3-million contract with the Canadian Department of National Defence to transition an information solution that MDA is currently developing for DND's Counter Improvised Explosive Device or CIED Program from demonstration phase to initial deployment phase. The initial deployment is intended to test an improved capability to integrate information from multiple intelligence sources and to generate comprehensive intelligence analysis related to the IED threat to assist in protecting CF personnel and operations in Afghanistan.
