03:34 PM EST - Sherwood Copper Corp. : says its wholly owned subsidiary, Minto Explorations Ltd. has entered into a power purchase agreement with Yukon Energy Corp. for power to Sherwood's 100% owned Minto high-grade copper-gold deposit in the Yukon; The Vancouver-based miner said Monday that Minto will pay asbout $5 million a year for four years for the electricity and $7 million a year for three years after that. If approved, the power would be shipped along new transmissioion lines to the Minto project. Sherwood Copper Corp.
shares V.SWC are trading up 8 cents at $4.73.
