09:51 AM EST - Teck Resources Limited : reported its second-quarter net earnings from continuing operations of $521 million or $1.07 per share, compared to $500 million or $1.12 per share in the previous-year period. Net earnings for the quarter was $570 million or $1.17 per share, compared to $497 million or $1.12 per share in the same period last year. Adjusted net earnings declined to $213 million from $496 million in the prior year period. Comparative net earnings were $177 million, down from $503 million a year ago.
