Total expenses for the quarter declined to $4.96 million, from $7.72 million in the prior-year quarter. Net income before income taxes for the quarter was $1.23 million, compared to a loss of $1.66 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenues for the quarter were $8.73 million, compared to $10.27 million in the prior-year quarter. During 2008, the Company has invested significant capital and management resources to integrate the BOLO and iSoft acquisitions into WellPoint Systems.
