09:57 AM EST - Ballard Power Systems : says its fourth-quarter loss ballooned to US$128.7 million, from a year-earlier US$16.1 million, after a $111-million writedown from the sale of electric drive operations. The loss for the quarter ended Dec. 31 amounted to $1.13 a share and compared with 14 cents a share a year ago. Fourth-quarter revenue totalled US$16.5 million, up 10 per cent.
