11:47 AM EST - Bellamont Exploration Ltd. : announced that its second-quarter net loss and comprehensive loss was $1.55 million, compared to profit of $119,000 or breakeven per share in the year-ago quarter. Funds generated from operations for the quarter were $394,000 or $0.01 per share, compared to $1.25 million or $0.03 per share in the same quarter of last year. Petroleum and natural gas sales for the quarter declined to $2.37 million, from $2.78 million in the year-ago quarter. The company also announced that it has entered into a bought deal financing agreement with a syndicate of underwriters led by FirstEnergy Capital Corp. and including GMP Securities L.P., RBC Capital Markets and National Bank Financial to issue 10 million Class A shares at a price of $0.62 per share for gross proceeds of $6.20 million.
