Net sales for the quarter declined to $6.11 million from $8.10 million in the comparable period. Net income for the six months ended August 31, 2009, was $1.01 million versus a loss of $0.84 million in the year-ago period. Net sales for the period decreased to $11.52 million from $16.3 million last year. Leading Brands Inc.
